Remote Work Policy

At Rebate Media Buyers, we believe great work doesn’t need to happen in an office. We're a remote-first agency built around results, not time clocks. This policy outlines how we approach remote work to support flexibility, autonomy, and accountability across our team.



1. Remote-First Culture


Rebate Media Buyers operates as a fully remote company. All employees, contractors, and collaborators are empowered to work from anywhere, as long as they:

  • Maintain reliable internet access
  • Communicate clearly and consistently
  • Deliver high-quality work on time
  • Remain available during core collaboration hours (see below)

We prioritize outcomes over hours — and trust our team to own their time and their results.



2. Core Collaboration Hours


To stay aligned across time zones, we ask team members to be available for meetings and team check-ins during the following core hours:
Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM CST
Outside of those hours, you’re free to structure your day in the way that works best for you — as long as deadlines and responsibilities are met.



3. Communication Expectations


We use tools like Slack, Asana, and Zoom to stay connected. Our standard expectations:

  • Respond to internal messages within 1 business day
  • Attend scheduled team meetings and 1:1s
  • Provide regular status updates on active projects
  • Overcommunicate when in doubt — especially when blocked or delayed


4. Equipment & Workspace


All team members are expected to provide their own:

  • Laptop or desktop with camera
  • Reliable high-speed internet
  • Quiet, professional workspace (especially for client-facing roles)

We offer stipends or reimbursements for home office setups on a case-by-case basis.



5. Time Off & Work-Life Balance


Remote doesn’t mean always-on. We encourage time off, regular breaks, and healthy boundaries. Team members should:

  • Submit PTO requests in advance
  • Block off calendar time when unavailable
  • Respect boundaries across time zones

We measure success by output — not hours worked.



6. Eligibility & Exceptions


Remote work is the default at Rebate Media Buyers. In rare cases, specific roles may require geographic proximity (e.g., for occasional client travel or local media buys). These exceptions will be clearly noted in job descriptions or offer letters.



7. Policy Updates


This policy may be updated as our team grows and our processes evolve. We’ll notify team members of any major changes via email or internal memo.
